The role

You’ll develop and apply makeup for portraits, campaigns and moving image, working with our creative lead, photographers and stylists. The work ranges from precise skin finishes to graphic colour and sculptural detail.

What you’ll do

Translate briefs into references, tests and face charts. Prepare a clean, adaptable kit and work confidently across different skin tones and textures. Maintain continuity between stills and film, document look changes and support a calm, respectful experience for everyone in the chair.

What you’ll bring

A portfolio showing strong skin preparation, controlled colour and thoughtful decisions. Experience on editorial or commercial sets, sound hygiene practice and clear communication. We welcome different routes into the industry; the work and your approach matter more than a particular qualification.

Room to develop

You’ll take part in studio tests, material studies and shared reviews of the work. Production schedules, travel and additional hours are agreed clearly. We make space for questions and credit the people who contribute to each project.

How to apply

Email a portfolio link, a short introduction and your availability. Select a few images that show both close-up technique and a complete creative direction, and explain your contribution. Include any adjustments you need for the interview.
